Helen Lieber Early Learning Academy
The Helen Lieber Early Learning Academy (HLELA) in Hartford City has achieved a Level 3 rating in Paths to QUALITY, Indiana’s voluntary rating and improvement system for childcare programs. HLELA is now able to accept Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) vouchers for those families that need assistance with daycare costs. HLELA now has a curriculum that aligns with the Indiana State Standards, to ensure that children are ready for kindergarten when they leave the daycare. Paths to QUALITY will provide additional training for the director and staff.
HLELA, formerly known as Helen Lieber Preschool, has been around for more than 60 years ago, originally starting as a kindergarten and then transitioning into a preschool. In 2018, it transitioned again to provide all-day care with preschool as well as the half day
programs for children ages 3-5. HLELA currently has openings for daycare 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Families with children who will be 3 or 4 years old by Sept. can call 765-302-8671 or email email@example.com for more information.
Our goal for Children's Ministry team is to serve children as well as adults. Presently children are welcome and are warmly included during the 9am worship service. A children's message from the pastor is a regular event. (Temporarily suspended.)
