The Helen Lieber Early Learning Academy (HLELA) in Hartford City has achieved a Level 3 rating in Paths to QUALITY, Indiana's voluntary rating and improvement system for childcare programs. HLELA is now able to accept Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) vouchers for those families that need assistance with daycare costs. HLELA now has a curriculum that aligns with the Indiana State Standards, to ensure that children are ready for kindergarten when they leave the daycare. Paths to QUALITY will provide additional training for the director and staff.
HLELA, formerly known as Helen Lieber Preschool, has been around for more than 60 years, originally starting as a kindergarten and then transitioning into a preschool. In 2018, it transitioned again to provide all-day care with preschool. News from Helen Lieber Early Learning Academy...Assisted E-Learning Program.
Have you had to miss work when your child is out of school for e-learning days? Is it taking a toll on your job and/or your family? Not any more! Helen Lieber Early Learning Academy has limited spots available in our Assisted E-Learning Program for those days that are already on the calendar and/or those days that may be in the future. Your K -4th grade student will perform their e-learning in a supervised environment for just $25 per day, while you are able to remain at work, stress free and productive.
We are conveniently located at Grace United Methodist Church, 312 W Washington. We are open from 6:00am until 6:00 pm, with experienced staff members ready to assist your child with enriching activities when they are not in e-learning sessions and providing all-day care for them to relieve your concerns and worries. Children's Ministry
Our goal for Children's Ministry team is to serve children as well as adults. Presently children are welcome and are warmly included during the 9am worship service.
